For me, the rising cost of electricity first peaked my interest in home solar power. I had also heard a lot about global warming and I wanted to do my part in helping the planet. But I didn't know much about solar power, much less how to use it with my house. 

On top of that, I wasn't even sure if it was a feasible option. I'd heard of solar power, but I was under the impression that it was really expensive, unreliable, complicated, and that I would have to dramatically change my lifestyle in order to go solar. 

I didn't want to have to constantly monitor which lights were on or what appliances I was using in order that I didn't overload my system, which is what I thought you had to do. I, probably like you, was willing to make a few small changes, but I didn't want to completely turn my life upside down in order to facilitate a solar power system. That just seemed like way too much work!

So I decided to do some research and I found out that these concerns weren't actually true. I was surprised to learn that solar power wasn't anything like I thought - it was better! 

In fact, I discovered that solar power had come a long way in the last couple of decades and that it was comparable with more traditional sources of electricity. I learned that: 

• It's cheaper than many think, and it will certainly pay itself off        

• Most systems have a 20-25 Year Warranty, guaranteeing reliability 

• It's easy enough that most people can put a solar system in their house

• I could keep living my same lifestyle, while saving money and the environment at the same time

• And, a lot more.

I also learned that most states allow you to plug your PV Solar System into the power grid and the utility company will actually pay you for the extra electricity you generate and don't use!

So not only  are getting free energy, but you could be getting paid for it. 

Furthermore, if you decide to tie into the grid, you can keep living the way you are now without worrying about "overloading" your system. 

If you use more power than you make, you just use the power from the power company for whatever you need beyond what you generate...

While dramatically reducing your energy costs!
